Application for the 2025 PEIRMTA Composition Competition
Selection for the CFMTA Student Composer Competition 2025
Important Dates:
- Applications open Jan. 2, 2025.
- Entries must be received on or before Mar. 1, 2025.
- A completed entry form and the correct entry fee must accompany each composition entered.
- Each entry will receive a written adjudication. Click here to learn more about this year’s celebrated adjudicator, Elizabeth Volpe-Bligh.
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place compositions will be performed at the awards ceremony in the spring of 2025. Prizes (only if merited) will be awarded to the winners of each category. Certificates will be given to contestants who place second and third.
- Recommended entries will be forwarded to the
CFMTA/FCAPM Student Composer Competition, a national competition for First Place Winners of Provincial/Territorial composition competitions. Click here for more details.
