Join PEIRMTA

All active members of the Prince Edward Island Registered Music Teachers’ Association (PEIRMTA) are automatic members of the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Association (CFMTA). A portion of the annual PEIRMTA provincial membership fee is designated as the CFMTA annual membership fee. One benefit of CFMTA membership is access to liability insurance coverage.   • Liability Insurance is included with membership. This provides up to $5,000,000.00 coverage for claims (e.g. due to injuries) which may arise from music teaching and related activities occurring in the teacher's home-based studio or on the premises. Members are also covered for activities performed outside of the home as they act in their capacity as members of the PEIRMTA.
