He began his career teaching oboe at the Sistema program in Moncton in 2018, where he taught beginner oboe classes and coached the oboe and wind sections of the regional and provincial youth orchestras. He performed as first oboist of Tutta Musica in musical productions at the Capitol Theatre, some of which include The Nutcracker, Beauty & the Beast, and The Wizard of Oz.

Marc currently plays second oboe and English horn with the Prince Edward Island Symphony and runs a private music studio, Music with Marc, offering lessons in oboe, piano, woodwinds and music theory to students of all ages and levels. In his spare time, Marc devotes time to his passion project called Brass Glow Co., where he creates lamps and other pieces of functional decor using broken musical instruments and salvaged parts.
